Why We Started High Desert Illumination

After more than 40 years designing luxury home technology systems, I noticed a common problem: exceptional homes often lacked exceptional lighting.

Too often, lighting was treated as an afterthought rather than an essential part of how a home looks, feels, and functions. I founded High Desert Illumination to change that.

Our approach combines thoughtful design, technical expertise, and a deep understanding of how people live in their homes. The result is lighting that enhances architecture, elevates everyday living, and feels effortless to use.
